Country House Antique Campaign Desk

This superb Country House Mahogany Antique Campaign Desk / Military desk dates from the mid 20th century ca. 1950 and comes with wonderful genuine charm and character. It has the original tooled leather writing insert above three frieze drawers and central knee-hole. Each pedestal has three graduating drawers with flush Brass handles and this charming antique desk stands on bracket feet. The back is open so can be used to store files. It splits into three sections for ease of removal and has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
