A good antique Khoy Tabriz carpet, large squarish proportions with a dramatic Garrus type all over design on midnight ground framed by generous and quite beautiful madder borders. The carpet is weighty having thick pile just about all over with no obvious repair. Its sturdy nature makes it suitable for areas of heavy traffic. Despite its ripe old age its shows very little wear. Clean with all ends and sides secured.
