A late Georgian mahogany chest-on-chest, made in two sections for ease of transport. The top half features two short drawers above three full-width drawers, while the lower section contains a further four long drawers. All drawers are fitted with original brass swan-neck handles and brass escutcheons. Constructed in well-figured mahogany, with a projecting cornice and bracket feet, this early 19th-century piece reflects the balance and craftsmanship typical of English furniture from the period.
