This is a charming framed embroidery of a bird dating from the 1700s. The hand sewn piece is worked on quilted silk and is of a pretty bird in peach and soft brown shades. The work is presented in a solid wood frame which suits it well. This is in great condition for its age. The frame measures 15 cms by 15 cms.

This is one of two very similar embroideries we have currently available.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
