Circle of David Morier (Anglo-Swiss, 1705-1770) - Believed Equestrian portrait of King George II - An original oil on canvas portrait painting of monarch on horseback. In military uniform with hat, staff in hand and armour. The subject sat on a red & gilt painted saddle with matching bag. The horse in rampant position. Trees and soldiers in the background with town view in the far centre. Unsigned. Framed in a carved giltwood frame.
