An outstanding antique military campaign chest of drawers. This dates from around the 1840-1860 period.It is of amazing quality and is a very useful size, with lots of storage space. This sits on beautifully turned legs and the chest comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport, as is typical of these military chests.We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the teak retains a gorgeous patina and colour tone, with various small marks here and there remaining beneath the polish.The original locks have had a new key cut for them that works for all the locks, except the lock on the upper right drawer.
