Its unusual these days to find a piece of furniture that is so old but still in this condition. Yes...there are various stains and marks on the top surface but they''ve been there a long time and only add to the history of this very handsome piece.
Made around 1750 probably in Northern France. The base comes with original hinges locks and surprisingly the original key.
The shelf in the base is not original but was replaced some years ago.. The door key only locks the base and not the centre drawer . This is unlocked.
