Description

Swiss silver Pluto pocket watch, 1931.

The watch has a 15-jewel (3 adjustments) stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Pluto, a brand name registered by several different watch manufacturers. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Birmingham 1931 with a case maker’s mark for the Birmingham manufacturer Aaron Dennison, supplier of cases to various watch manufacturers. The case is in lovely condition with nice crisp engine turned detail to the back.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The dial is in super condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
