The father seated, resting after a day’s work with his infant balanced on his knees playing with his pipe, his wife stood by winding cotton. A scene that provides an insight into Italian home life during the late 19th Century. Lots of detail and good strong colours.
Signed lower right and inscribed with the artists name and title to the mount, presented within its original glazed gilt frame.
