A pair of late eighteenth century Dutch delft polychrome painted tin glazed plates, decorated with flowers and a table, and a border in a repeating floral design. The colours are lovely and bright - a very attractive pair of plates.
Condition: As is common with delft ware, the plates have chips to the glaze around the rim. One plate (the bottom one in the photos) has a hairline crack running from the rim towards the centre which is more apparent from the back. The other plate has a repaired break on the rim which has been fastened back together.
Dimensions:
Diameter - 22.5cm
Depth - 2.5cm
