An attractive late Regency period mahogany sideboard with pleasing neat proportions dating from around 1820. The cabinet has a nice colour throughout and good antique patina and is in great condition, coming with the original key to the working locks. This has a fitted cellaret to the right door compartment for wine storage a useful central drawer as well as a cabinet to the left door, all with their original pressed brass lion mask handles in excellent order.
The sideboard is raised on six turned solid mahogany legs.
It’s neat proportions, (137 cms wide, 90 high 53 deep) make it suitable for many situations.
