Brief Description:

This is a remarkable quality original late 19th/early 20th century Oil on Canvas Marinescape Painting depicting the majestic Scottish Vessel 'Mary Wylie' entering the harbour in Malta.

The beautiful vessel was built in 1837 by the Scottish shipbuilders 'David & Thomas Grey, Kincardine'.

The fabulous piece has been meticulously restored to its full glory, including an expert and professional reline of the canvas and a newly fitted conforming (later) frame.

The attention to detail throughout the painting is quite exceptional.

It is titled within a hand-painted faux gilt mount.
