An absolutely beautiful antique French Bombe commode in olive wood and decorated in profuse inlay & marquetry, dating from around the 1900-1910 period.
It is of extremely fine quality and is a great size too. The olive wood has a beautiful colour tone and wonderful grain patterns. There is inlaid floral marquetry and borders throughout, and lots of storage space inside the generous drawers.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is some minor age related wear beneath the polish here and there, with a gorgeous overall patina.
