Rare 19th Century Morris & Co Sussex Style Antique Bench Seat

A rare to find long Arts & Crafts antique bench seat in Sussex chair style by Morris & Co around 1875. Just like an elongated armchair version, in the original ebonised finish and featuring a spindle back rest with ‘draught’ piece roundels in the back rest. The turned arms are splayed slightly and this Morris & Co antique bench seat stands on eight legs that all have connecting stretchers. Perfect for a hallway or end of a bed. In very good, solid condition and with a traditional woven seagrass seat.
