A lovely antique tribal rug, woven by the Afshar tribe circa 1900. The design features a large indigo medallion on a soft red field of stylised flowers surrounded by an interesting camel border. Some even wear adds to the antique look
Size: 1.58m x 1.30m (5ft 2in x 4ft 3in)
This rug has medium, age related wear consistently throughout. The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
