Description

Gents 1940s Leonidas chronograph wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss Landeron 48 hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 38mm diameter excluding the winding crown, buttons and lugs. The case is chromium plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is some wear to the plate on the ends of the lugs.

The lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, two subsidiary dials (one for constant seconds and the other to record up to 30 minutes) and a “snail” scale and telemetre scale.

The watch has a vintage leather strap.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
