Victorian Aesthetic Movement Painted Collectors Chest

A lovely antique tabletop chest of four drawers dating from the late 19th Century. It is an excellent quality piece with its original ebonised finish with gilded details and brass handles. It has a beautiful hand painted floral design on the front of the drawers and it stands on turned bun feet.
It is in good condition for its age and displays very nicely. There are signs of age and use, it has picked up a few minor knocks and scuffs over the years and there is some minor rubbing and wear to the paint in places but no major damages or anything detrimental. The drawers all open and close smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside.
