Oak tallboy or chest-on-stand in two sections, made from dense native Welsh oak. The upper part has a lid with scalloped chip-carved edges which reveals a compartment with a false drawer front, over two real panelled drawers with applied edge mouldings, above a base section with a further drawer and raised on four cabriole feet.
The form of this piece could be classed as a coffor bach in the form of a chest-on-stand
