Brief Description:

This is a marvellous original mid-20th-century Impressionist Seascape Oil on Board Painting depicting a British estuary at low tide, with vintage boatyards, industrial buildings, victorian dwellings and a lone figure standing beside a small rowing boat.

Painted during the 1950s by celebrated British artist Edward M. Elliott.

It is a beautiful example of the artist's work with excellent attention to detail and an amazing portrayal of light.

Signed 'Elliott' lower left corner and mounted within the original vintage two-tone frame.
