Here we have a rare French apple wood chest of drawers from Boulogne Sur Mer c1840. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. The chest is stamped at the rear for C L''heuruex and Company 32 and 67 Grande Rue Boulogne Sur Mer. There is a plank top with super grain and colour with a thumb moulded edge. There is a desirable configuration of 2 over three drawers with original turned fruitwood handles. The drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and the whole sits on the original plinth base. A super period chest with great provenance in retail condition ready for your home. the dimensions are approx 117 cm wide 54 cm deep 93 cm high.
