Beautiful Inlaid Edwardian Mahogany Antique Kidney Shaped Writing Desk

This late 19th Century Beautiful Inlaid Edwardian Mahogany Antique Kidney Shaped Writing Desk dates from ca. 1900. This fine antique desk has a stunning kidney shaped top with boxwood and ebony string inlay. This sits above a shaped central drawer over knee hole flanked by two smaller shaped drawers all with the original brass handles and beautiful inlay. This elegant antique stands on four tapering legs with castors and has wonderful genuine charm and character. It is finished all the way around so may be placed in the centre of the room if desired. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of Mahogany wax finishing.
