Depicting Letus and Amphion attempting to tie Dirce to an enraged bull; together with Endymion and Antiope; on an integrally cast naturalistic base elaborately decorated with scenes of fighting animals. Size: Height: 15 in (38.1 cm)Width: 11.5 in (29.21 cm)Depth: 11 in (27.94 cm)

Crafted in Italy in the Mid 19th century, the bronze statue features the iconic Farnese Bull, a symbol of strength and power. The intricate details of the sculpture are a testament to the skill of the Italian artisans who created it.
Condition: Very good no faults minimal wear for age and very presentable.
The bronze is on a wood base about 3 Inches tall that is painted to look like marble.
This is fitted on to a late 19th century wood Plinth measuring 41 Inches (104 cm) Tall.
We are selling this without the Plinth, so the shipping quotes are for the Bonze and the
marble effect base. not including the Plinth.
