A very charming 17th century solid oak chest of drawers.
William & Mary c1690.
The drawer handles and escutcheons are exceptionally lovely, in an ornate baroque design, with very charming winged putti to the drop handles and the escutcheons.
In good characterful antique condition, expected signs of age and patina. Three of the stile feet have been restored and replaced. The two front feet replaced with turned bun feet, one back foot replaced, leaving one back foot original. Overall solid, sturdy and strong.
