Description

This exquisite Victorian sofa boasts a solid carved oak frame and is upholstered in a beautiful cream damask fabric. The elegant settee features horsehair padding and is designed with rolling arms and a backrest. The buttoned backrest and arms are intact, with no missing buttons, and are trimmed with twisted cream piping and braiding. It stands on two turned ringed legs at the front and splayed legs at the back, all ending in brass and ceramic castors. As with all antique furniture, it has its imperfections; while there are no rips or tears in the fabric, there are some water marks (as shown in pictures) that could likely be removed professionally or simply concealed with a decorative throw. This highly functional and attractive sofa would make a perfect addition to any home.
