This is a fabulous Bidjar Kilim carpet from Kurdistan dating from around 1930.
The flat weave carpet has a stunning design, its softly abrashed light strawberry field looks delightful on the floor. The carpet has a column of diamond medallions surrounded by tribal motifs, enclosed by borders of linked diamond stepped güls and charcoal guard stripes. The carpet also has deep indigo, aqua blue and a soft coral in it''s colour palette. The flat weave is all in great condition and the carpet looks absolutely stunning in any interior setting. This is a great size measuring 312 cms by 130 cms.
UK insured packing and delivery is £25.
