A superb pair of Victorian brass fire dogs or fire tool stands c1870. This impressive pair of fire dogs is made of heavy good quality brass. The front columns feature a double spiral finial and lions paw feet. The rear column has a smaller spiral finial. The horizontal bar features a pierced fretwork of Gothic design. They have been repolished to bring them back to life and they look great.
