Made with so much love and care, evidenced by the fine quality velvety pile and superb range of naturally dyed colours. This 1880 Qashqai tribal saddlebag face is made from wool and cotton with a velvety pile and a natural dye palette of navy blue, terracotta, cream, red, and blue. The square textile displays a central terracotta stepped diamond medallion surrounded by geometric motifs, tribal star elements, a latch-hook border, and a braided upper selvage with fringing at both ends.
