Description

A very well made pair of solid walnut standard single bed frames with the original box bases, stamped Barnsley to the end.

Edward Barnsley born in 1900 into a family of furniture makers. The family were inspired by William Morris, they set up a workshop in the Cotswolds, a significant part of the Arts & Crafts movement.

Both ends in good strong condition, one bases fabric worn through, they are lovely quality beds, for use with a standard single mattress 3' x 6' 3", they are a nice colour. Dated 1930.
