Northwest persian soumak flat weave panel / rug, approximately 4'3" x 3'3", circa 1930. A hand-woven panel with polychrome bands of geometric and zoomorphic motifs, flanked by wide kilim strips at each end, and long fringes. Wool construction.

An attractive old rug, full of charm and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 135 cm long including fringes, and 105 cm wide.

Condition:
