E.Highes. The lovely makers paper label is still present. Superb quality build throughout in solid oak with cedar wood linings. To the centre are a pair of drawers with carved decorations and wonderful, original shaped handles. To each side of the drawers are well panelled cupboard doors, inside one is an original shelf, the other an open storage space. This early model Gordon Russell oak drawers and a nicely moulded top, all a superb, original colour and it stands well on square legs. Great proportions by a Cotswolds British furniture designer, Gordon Russell in 1930 and in excellent, original condition.
