A beautiful ivory ground West Persian Mahal carpet, with large scale allover design woven in super muted natural shades. Almost certainly from the coveted Ziegler and Company workshops, this late 19th century carpet epitomises the English country house look. Even low pile, some wear and quality repair work, super clean with all ends and sides secure. Circa 1880.
