This is an incredible quality Original 19th-century Charcoal Painting depicting a dramatic maritime Shipwreck scene, with a large vessel smashing into the rocky coastline during very rough seas.

It is a mesmerizing image and it is one of the most lifelike we have encountered.

Signed indistinctly lower left corner, and mounted within the original Victorian wooden and glazed frame.
