Desk Victorian Mahogany Inlaid C1880

Description

Here we have a beautiful Victorian solid mahogany desk c1870. The desk as you can see has great colour and patina. The desk has some lovely inlaid strung detail around the drawers and sides which in a few places has been professionaly restored. The desk sits proudly on bracket feet and looks particularly fine and elegant. As you would expect from a high quality piece the desk is solid Mahogany with Mahogany lined drawers including bases which all have handcut dovetailed joints and are plush fitting. The red leather skiver is nicely tooled and gilded and compliments the rich Mahogany. A fine desk of great proportions ready for your home. Dimensions are approx 45 inches wide 28 high 24 deep.
