As you would expect the drawers have handcut dovetailed joints front and rear and are plush fitting. There are locks and a key. The leather i believe is original, ox blood in colour nicely tooled and gilded with a few light marks just adding to the patination. The original decorative brass handles are inplace as are the original brass and ceramic castors (photo 10). The desk has lovely grain and is nicely and freshly polished. A beautiful solid Oak desk ready for your home.
