Description

Nice small size mid 18th century chest on chest with canted corners and frieze inlaid with boxwood and with the original handles with traces of the old gilding still in evidence. Really great colour and patina. Provenance, bought from Stow Antiques for £5500 in 2001 who attributed the chest to Elgin near Aberdeen.

Scotland circa 1760 for sale together with Stow Antiques purchase receipt from 2001.
