This very well engineered and constructed scale model of a 17th century cannon is made from mahogany throughout its carriage and the wheels and fitted with bronze and steel mounts.The rotating wheels have hand turned spokes, steel rims and wooden hubs with bronze pegged collars. The barrel is finely cast in solid bronze which is held in place with steel hinged plates, one to each side.
