Description

A fantastic original antique Victorian mahogany leather top desk. This was made in England, it dates from around 1880-1900.

The quality is amazing, this is very sturdy and well built. There is lots of storage space inside the nine generous drawers. The drawer fronts have lovely quartered mahogany veneers with cross banded edges and brass ring pull handles. The desk sit on eight elegant yet sturdy legs with original porcelain casters. The back is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The inset leather top is beautiful, it has been hand coloured and gold tooled.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some old wear and small marks remaining beneath the polish here and there.
