A very rare early Kirman carpet showing beautifully drawn Cypress trees on scarce, pale yellow ground. Despite its huge size, the piece has been cut down and would have been much longer. Some patches taken from missing piece dotted around the carpet. Despite this, this grand carpet remains in solid, useable condition, perfect for that English country house look. It has been deep cleaned and is floor ready. NB Several fragments of this remarkable carpet remain in private collections here and abroad. A large piece of it was published in Hali many years ago.
