Antique Edwardian Serpentine Mahogany Ladies Writing Desk C1900 6246/160

Description

Lovely antique edwardian flamed mahogany ladies writing desk and dating form aorund 1900. Of quality flamed mahogany it has a pierced gilt gallery top and with two small doors to each end with oval panels to the centre and small gilt knob handles joined by two small drawers above an open space. It has a tooled leather writing surface to the serpentine shaped front above two drawers which are mahogany lined and with small gilt knob handles and shaped frieze. It stands on lovely cabriole legs with gilt mounts to the side and gilt caps to the foot.

Measures: 40" high X 30" to writing surface X 20" deep X 34" wide

It is in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and grain to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the period.
