Antique Oak Roll Top Desk

A large and impressive antique American oak roll top desk, by Cutler & Sons. The antique roll top desk has a moulded top and sides with a tambour roll top. The roll top is complete with working locks and key. It unlocks and rolls back to reveal a fitted interior consisting of various size pigeon holes and drawers above a solid oak writing surface. The roll top desk sits on two pedestals, each with three drawers and a double drawer, raised on a plinth base with castors. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport. A rather pleasing example, with a rich colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the writing surface, top and sides. The roll top desk has smoothly running drawers and remains structurally solid and sound. A great example of an antique american oak roll top desk.
