Antique Victorian Walnut Pedestal Desk

An attractive antique Victorian walnut pedestal desk, in the Georgian style. The antique pedestal desk has a rectangular top with an olive green leather inset writing surface with gold gilting, to the centre and three frieze drawers below. The antique pedestal desk top is raised on twin pedestals either side of the kneehole, forming an arrangement of six drawers, each with brass drop handles and detailed escutcheon. The bottom left drawer has dividers, great for organisation.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the leather top, sides and drawers. The pedestal desk remains structurally solid and sound with smoothly running drawers. A great example of an antique Victorian walnut pedestal desk.
