Description

A super quality fully restored Antique Edwardian Roll Top Desk. The interior has a full selection of drawers and pigeon holes and a new deep rich red tooled leather has been fitted. The side pedestals have nicely carved handles and all run smoothly. Above the drawers are brushing slides. As with most quality oak roll top desks all the panels are fielded (bevelled) and the desk looks tremendous on or off the wall. Most importantly, as with all of our roll top desks, the tambour has been rebacked completely. This is not a quick nor cheap job and not a diy project but it is the one thing that can have catastrophic effects when the backing eventually splits and breaks. This is a job that most dealers do not take on and if it looks ok leave it. As with most roll tops this desk breaks down into three main pieces and will go through almost any doorway. This desk comes with our free mainland UK delivery. The condition is excellent with the finish rejuvenated and looks fantastic with working locks and keys all ready to use and enjoy.
