Here we have a fine quality Victorian solid Walnut 3 part twin pedestal desk by Edwards & Roberts c1880. As you can see the desk has great colour and patina. The desk is of excellent quality and what you would expect from the prestigious firm of Edwards and Roberts. There is a beautiful polished leather top with tooled edge. The top has a generous Walnut border and a stepped moulded edge. The top comes off and houses three of the nine drawers. The drawers retain their original brass handles and have stepped moulded fronts, hand cut dovetail joints and solid Mahogany linings with internal dust bead quadrants. There is a plinth base and the rear of the desk is beautifully finished so could be stood in the middle of a room. A super period fine quality desk with a generous knee hole in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 138 cm wide 72 cm deep 77 cm high.
