Here is a beautiful Edwardian miniature painting in watercolour on celluloid of a fine fashionable lady with curled hair and a feathered bonnet - her pale blue and white collared gown complimenting the pinks of the Ostrich feathers and the scarf she holds.

Miniature portrait painting on celluloid really gained popularity during the Edwardian era, over the more expensive ivory as a surface on which to paint.

This painting is extremely opulent and really gives a glimpse into the the life of an elegant Edwardian lady.

This miniature painting is framed under glass in an oval gold coloured frame and stands on a velvet easel style foot to the reverse of the picture, and a loop for hanging.

The painting is 10.5cm tall, and 8cm wide, and is in very good antique condition.
