Very handsome king-size bed with solid construction, shaped and carved frame with quarter veneer burr mahogany on head end, foot end and side rails. Lovely quality in good condition (See photos) with beautiful colouring throughout.

Fruitwood inlay cross-banding and lovely accompanying details inspired by nature.

Gilt ormolu decoration on head end and foot, with brass crest atop head end.

Truly a stunning bed which we have cleaned and restored to ensure a solid and sturdy bed. The frame has been professionally restored with rails extended to support modern king size mattress 150cm x 200cm /5' x 6'6".

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
