Description

This is a fine example of a hand woven Tabriz carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet has traditional pretty design with a rich red central floral medallion in a deep indigo field filled with arching blossoms, and warm red to the spandrels and borders too. The carpet is in great condition with an even overall pile and good ends and selvedges. A great room size this measures 385 cms by 285 cms and would bring great warmth and style to a room.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
