Description

A lovely antique Heriz carpet with beautiful colours, rustic medallion design with geometric leaves and flowers. Condition is excellent, a high wool pile and dating from circa 1900-1910. Nomadic weavers have created a glorious carpet, woven 110 years ago and looking as good as the day it was cut from the loom.

It is getting increasingly rare to find antique Persian Heriz carpets of this high quality in such original condition.  Ideal for a drawing room, dining room, study or entrance hall, included in the price is our sturdy underlay, helping sit safely and flat on any floor type, enhancing its appearance too.

As members of the BADA - The British Antique Dealers Association and LAPADA - The Association of Art & Antique Dealers we adhere to strict guide lines as affiliated members and pride ourselves on maintaining its high standards. We exhibit at the BADA fair in Chelsea, London every March and the LAPADA Fair in Mayfair, London every September.
