Original Antique Chaise Longue by Howard & Sons – Stamped

This is a top quality, English country house antique chaise longue by Howard & Sons, London around 1870. All traditionally upholstered, the innards are all intact and the lovely finishing fabric is in superb, clean condition. This Howard antique chaise stands on four, well turned walnut legs, all have the top quality original brass cup castors which are each stamped by the maker, Howard & Sons. Also, there is a lovely original paper Howard & Sons makers label on the underside of a stretcher and one back leg is stamped with the Howard two line model numbers. An amply sized, English antique chaise lounge by one of England’s top upholstery makers.
