Description

A superb antique walnut leather top pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of extremely fine quality, with a gorgeous cushion top design. The walnut has a beautiful patina and colour tone, this has high quality brass handles and escutcheons, it sits on ogee bracket feet. The drawers all run smoothly and have fine, hand cut dovetail joints. The inset faded black leather top has tooled edges, this has a nicely finished back so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
