Description

A smart and very well made antique Victorian mahogany pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1870-1890 period.

It is of lovely quality and is a very useful, petite size. The drawer fronts have brass tear drop handles, this sits on a plinth base with casters beneath. The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, the back of the desk is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are just some small old minor marks here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
